I aim to promote peaceful neighbourhood connections through projects and programmes that provide opportunities for engagement, collaboration, and growth.
I am asking for your vote; together, let’s build a safer, more inclusive, and better integrated community. I will bring experience, grassroots and inclusiveness to the decision table!
An independent voice prioritises the community and delivers practical results!
I’m Abann Yor — a community advocate and educator in the field of community development, with over two decades of experience working at the grassroots level. I am committed to serving ethnically diverse communities, including families, youth, women, elders and local small businesses in Auckland. My forced migration and displacement journey has provided an opportunity to rebuild my life in Aotearoa New Zealand, which has taught me the value of hope, resilience and community leadership. I’m standing as an Independent to deliver practical, community-led outcomes for a diverse Puketāpapa local board.
